Little Italy Philadelphia
12th & Filbert Streets, Philadelphia, PA 19103
Starting at 5:00 PM in the private dining room
There
will be appetizers and full dinner available for all
with the screening of a new DVD by Dr. Bob Solomon
Dress is informal (casual)
There
will be a cruise on the Delaware River
in Mel Miller’s Houseboat
starting at 11 and ending at 2 pm
(Cruise is limited to 30 people and 30 have signed up – see
below)

From the parking lot east
of Christopher Columbus Blvd (Delaware Ave) between Walnut and Chestnut Streets
or from the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, 201 S. Christopher
Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia PA 19106:
Park wherever convenient.
Walk to the east side (river side) of the Hotel and south (to the right)
of the Independence Seaport Museum to the riverside walkway. Then walk out onto the dock and take a
right turn and continue on the dock until opposite the Moshulu
and you will have reached the Bolero.

by a visit to

BARNES FOUNDATION
with guided tour starting at 2:30

Barnes is located at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway
(entrance 320 N. 20th Street), Philadelphia, PA 19130
A block of rooms has been reserved for our class at Loews
Philadelphia Hotel, 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, at a special
rate of $199.00 per night, single/double occupancy. It is less than a block
from Maggiano’s. The building was
formerly PSFS and that sign is still at the top. Rooms are available Friday,
10/14 and Saturday, 10/15. Reservations should be made directly with Loews
